Photo Retouching Tools of Photoshop

Do you like making photo books? I do. Often times, to make a photo book, you will have to retouch an old photo. Shutterfly had a software that allows you to do this. I learned about Shutterfly from Shutost. Adobe Photoshop offers a great deal of healing and retouching tools for enhancing the quality of your pictures. These tools allow you to repair the broken images, apply repetitive patterns and replace the colors of your photo. Following are the photo retouching tools of Photoshop and how you can use them for editing your photos.
1: Clone Stamp Tool:
The purpose of this tool is to clone or copy a part of an image to another part of the photo or to another layer of the photo or another picture or image. You can easily explore this tool from the toolbar and can find tons of tutorials available on the internet for using the tool. While using the clone stamp tool, make sure you set all the parameters available in the ‘Options panel’ for example the blending mode, size and the amount of opacity etc.
2: Pattern Stamp Tool:
This is a very useful tool for drawing repetitive patterns on the image. Mostly, the tool is used for creating a frame or a wallpaper design but sometimes it is also used for repeating the texture patterns of a part of an image. 3: Healing Brush Tool:
The purpose of the Healing brush tool is to remove the flaws, deficiencies and other unwanted features of an image. This retouching tool is actually a repairing tool, which heals the damaged part or undesirable part of the image. It manually helps you to select the source or a part of an image and then paint over its fault.
4: Patch Tool:
This retouching tool repairs the parts of an image by copying the pixels from another part of an image. It takes in consideration the shadows, luminance, and the texture just like the healing brush tool, mentioned above. It is also used to apply a repetitive pattern on the image either by selecting the source and dragging it to the damaged area or selecting the damaged area and taking it to the source.
5: Color Replacement Tool:
The red-eye effect can be corrected by this tool. Its purpose is very simple; it replaces the colors present in an image with other colors. Option panel contains the parameter setting options for this tool.
